Have you been waiting longer than the time noted above? Visit your state tax website and follow the instructions to check on the status of your state refund.

Most want you to wait until the allotted timeframe has passed before contacting them, but a few do offer ways to see the status of your tax refund.

There were already some delays with a few states due to new fraud prevention measures, but you should also expect additional delays with the current national and state shutdowns.

Good luck!
